Can I dump a shitload of money on Nikola Tesla?

I'm not sure there's anything I would change (maybe give my younger self a stern talking to about presenting myself better?). There's a lot of events I'd like to SEE, though.

If I was completely safe (as in, couldn't be killed or catch a horrible disease), I think I'd like to watch a gladiator fight, or maybe naumachia in the Colosseum? I just think it's such an iconic THING. This sort of ancient version of our media-driven, spectacle-focused culture of excess. I'd love to see it for real, to know if it was really as big and loud and overwhelming as it seems like it must have been, or if it's something that by a modern person's standards is just kind of boring and bland.

Go back in time one week with the winning lottery numbers. Text them to myself.

Middle Ages. During the time of the Plague. Me and several bagfuls of anti-biotics. I can't think of another way that would completely screw the modern time more so than that.

How much would life be different if millions and millions of Europeans, Africans and Asians had not died?

I think I'd just go back so I could be with my granddad on his death bed. I'd sneak in 9-year-old me and we could just sit there together.

I don't think I'd change anything big, really.

Especially as someone posted "Rhapsody in Blue" here only yesterday: prevent George Gershwin from dying at only 38 from a brain tumor.

I would go to the beach with my mom.

Personal: I'd go to college with my friend instead of choosing a different college. I wouldn't saying I regret going to a different college than her, but choice to do so definitely effected the way my life went.

All right, I'ma make it personal.

When I was in 8th grade, a couple of girls with whom I thought I was friends decided to trick me online. They, through their actions, presented me with a choice: I could either "talk shit" about someone, or "lie." I wasn't supposed to know that this what they were doing, but I did. I realized it. And I decided to try and outsmart them. This wound up costing me my friendship with one of my closest friends.

If I could go back, this is what I would do: I would tell them that I knew what they were about, and that I wasn't going to play their game. I'd tell them to fuck off.

I'm tempted to do a lot of shit, but fear changing who I was. So instead, I'm going to find the guy who stole my bike as a kid, let him steal my bike again so I don't fuck up my own development, and beat the living shit out of him as soon as he's where past me won't see it.

I can think of several American Revolution ones... :x (Stop Nathan Hale from spying on Long Island with no support, training, etc; stop stupid John Laurens from dying in a useless skirmish => stronger Federalist base in conjunction with Alexander Hamilton.)

Or more realistically, change the major I started college with.

I would try dating this one person. And apply for more scholarships and competition with scholarships, and not as many schools. I applied for so many schools, I burned myself out for grants. I literally had no more time...
