Re: Last movie you watched

I, Frankenstein. It was entirely as dumb as I expected it would be (although the CGI was shockingly terrible) but I thought it was still kind of fun. Eckhart using a gravelly, bale!batman-esque voice as Frankenstein's monster (he was generally referred to as "Adam" though) was kind of amusing too (made funnier by the fact that the movie ends with him standing on a rooftop, monologuing to himself like Batman). He phoned it in pretty hard.

There was also no in-movie explanation to explain why Adam was so hot instead of...idk, monster-like. He mentioned that he was put together from like eight different corpses but his skin tone and everything looked completely even

Hahahah well that sounds like something that would require a drunken movie night. I recall seeing The Expendables 3, and not even drugs could save that piece of shit.

Oh man. This wasn't the last movie I watched, but my mom pulled it up on Netflix over the holidays. I was expecting it to be boring. Oh how wrong I was!

Seriously, by the time the first scene was over my mom and I were sitting up straight trying to figure out WTH we were watching. From there it descended into MST3k snark and trying to figure out if the doctor lady carried around suture kits in her purse and why the abandoned building they were shacking up in had electricity. It was *glorious.*
