Corpse Bride

It felt kinda . . . dead. Forgettable hero, forgettable villain, forgettable music . . . Even the world design was kind of generic, though props for making the afterlife colorful while the living world was gray and dreary. The one character who really struck me was the titular bride, who lost all her dreams but still ended up happy.

I know I've watched that, but as a testament to how forgettable it was... I have totally forgotten most of it.

Me too! I don't remember a damn thing from it.

I've been meaning to rewatch this for the longest time because I don't remember it very well. I remember not being as wowed as Nightmare Before Christmas but feeling that I hadn't been fair to it because I was expecting it to by NBC.

I feel like Corpse Bride could have been fantastic, and that's the only reason I remember any of it. As it was, it wasn't done very well, although the titular bride (I think she had a name ... can't remember it at all) was a pretty good character in a blah movie.

I liked it but not as much as Nightmare Before Xmas.
