I tend to really enjoy coming up with elaborate theories in order to get writers' OOC writing to make sense, but some people are so ridiculously myopic about how their interpretation is the only possible interpretation that it gets really ridiculous sometimes. I mean, there's a difference between "that episode was OOC, X wouldn't be that much of a jerk for no reason" and "doing that means X is a racist classist facist who supports Colonialism because of my interpretation."
