I want to write about social medias relationship with television shows for my BA paper. but no one seems to think it is a great idea. Not that anyone told me not to do it, but no one is telling me "oh Renate that sounds interesting you should definitely do that" which I know is a stupid thing to put on other people. But because of that I don't know if I will be brave enough to go through with it.

also: I don't have time to be much on f!s anymore and it isn't making me as sad as it would have been a year ago... Mostly because of all the Anons who harass other users.

To be fair, the trolling has calmed down a bit since summer.

Some of it yes, but we are also missing a couple of users some of them as a direct result of the trolling. And the hostility is still around.

True.

Oh Renate, that sounds interesting you should definitely do that!

;)

(Seriously, it does sound like a fascinating thing to look at, not sure why anyone would be less-than-enthusiastic about it?)

Sounds like a worthy project, and I don't mean that in a snide way. This is a major part of modern culture and worth studying.

Yeah, that is the fun thing about my degree it is mostly modern culture and we have a pretty free reign on what we want to focus on as long as we can tie it in with films or television.

Also thank you!
