I don't really get it.

Why do woman gamers have to fight for acceptance? So, uh, if the guys don't approve...what happens? Basically, they're being assholes and you should enjoy what you want however you want.

Or am I missing something?

I think if we wait till women are "respected" by the men of the internet to do what we want, well...it's not looking like it'll happen soon...
