I have a follower who claims to be an 'older' member of fandom, but whenever I reblog posts pointing out just what a dickwiggler Snape was, she never fails to type up some kind of long, teal deer of a post on why we're all wrong and his lifelong friendzoned butthurt is justified because he was crapped on for his entire life.

I guess age means nothing when you life woobie-fying asshole characters.

*life - like

Though with how she always defends him, I'd say life fits the bill too.

I've never understood that defense of Snape. His life definitely sucked, but at the end of the day he was a grown man taking out his frustrations on eleven-year-olds.

If you're talking about the Snapedom folk, I think I know who you're talking about.
