Re: A question to the svelte ladies of F!S

When I want to lose weight I do it entirely through exercise (of course, this can only get me so far; I do hit a plateau). I have a good track record of sticking with daily exercise but I have never made a dietary change that I could ultimately live with, didn't backslide on, etc. At this point in my life, I only want to make sustainable changes that I know I can keep up rather than dieting really hard, losing the weight I want to lose, and then seeing it creep back up when I get tired of eating celery and never drinking.

Maybe you could eat more and start exercising?

The bonus with this approach is that the more lean muscle you build the more calories you'll burn just as your BMR.

Make sure you eat plenty of protein if you do start exercising though, OP, because otherwise you'll be burning off muscle rather than fat, which is obviously counterproductive.

*nods nods*

I do boiled eggs, string cheese, lots of fish and chicken.

Protein also helps you to feel full for longer, so bonus.
