While Kuvira IS pretty hot, I don't really think it's safe to say that your "heterosexual life" is over just because you found a single character attractive. She's still a character. Characters are idealized versions of people, without the thousands of personality inconsistencies and quirks and conflicting philosophies and annoying habits that real people have.

So you find a certain female ideal attractive? So what. That happens to almost everyone, believe it or not. It's why people get celebrity crushes that oppose their sexual identity as well.

tl;dr this is totally normal and probably not actually indicative of whether or not you would want to date a woman in real life. If you do, more power to you, but I really don't think you should read too much into this.
