Name the fandom. And repeats, etc.

Case, will you consider maybe sometime having a "vintage fandoms" day, where you set up a submissions post for only fandoms whose canons, say, ended by the year 2000 or earlier (or whatever FS agrees counts as "vintage") and post them all on one day? And if you do it and we get a lot of submissions/activity for it, maybe do it once a month?

I know where you're coming from, but she's clearly stuck in an abuse cycle and has been since she was a child. Her brother is her family, her protector, her torturer, and holds all of her cards in his hands; if she ran, he would catch her, and she'd be even worse off.

Even if the above scenario isn't true (which for her, it might be), it's what people who are stuck in abuse cycles typically feel. To outsiders, it seems so simple-- just GO. Just RUN. But inside it, it's not so easy.

i mean, has your entire sexual preference shifted? You might have found one of your strong exceptions. I think most people have "exceptions" out there that fall outside of their normal sexual preferences for whatever reason (even if the majority of us will never encounter one of them, and that's fine. And yes, I've had one.). If it's somebody who changes your entire perspective, that's fine to, but either way, I wouldn't waste too much mental anguish over what this means for you. Keep in mind your in an infatuation phase. Even when they are real people and not fictional characters, that wears off eventually. Where you find yourself on the sexual spectrum when the tunnel vision wears off and more things become attractive again is your own business, and if you find yourself shifted-expanded, then deal with that as you will. But I'd avoid being to stressed out about this now. Do what must be done (find lots of sexy art and rule 34 in the medium/s of your preference) and go with it!

I don't think I'd want to be on Voyager, though. Not because of Janeway, but because of the EMH. I'd rather have McCoy or Bashir or Pulaski taking care of me.
