Wow, really? I mean, for me, f-locking is IMPERATIVE.

I move a lot, and so a lot of my IRL friends end up only being able to keep up with me via my blogs and stuff. There's a big difference between what I want them to know versus what I want my average fan of my prose to know, and there's enough overlap that I haven't wanted to make a separate account for my art/fiction.

And even if I actually did fandom, I could understand wanting to f-lock, say, some really, REALLY filthy porn you did or something. I'd think it a dick move to try and spam comms about it, but if you just wanted to share it with a few of your fellow filthy porn friends, I'd say it makes perfect sense.
