Yes.
In fact there was an author that made me give up on following her fics, since she didn't brother to link previous chapters and didn't even tag all them in such a way that made it possible to find them easily, so the only way to find the previous chapters of anything was either browsing her "fic" tag (that also had reblogged fics and writing memes) or the fandom tag (that included gifcs, fanarts, opinions and so on).

Can't going to deny that, but if they posted updates in a shipping comm it was possible to keep with long fics without wadding through their tumblr/tags.

Most fuckyeah__ focus on fanart and if they do anything with fic is either recs or oneshots, so they don't remplace that.

(I only hate tumblr when it comes to fic posted there and that may be too obvious, I know)
