I hope in my old age to not be a drama queen and meet some friends. I'm feeling optimistic.

Btw, I've happened upon a blog by an author who wrote a book on how to make friends. She talked about making friends in the old(-ish) age - making sure you're not clingy and such, taking part in hobbies groups, community events, etc. Anyway, the point is it's never late to make good friends.
