I was randomly browsing old Fandom Wank entries the other day, and most of the links that went to LJ from those entries were now flocked.
Posts that were locked after-the-fact, usually because of traffic or wank, is basically the same thing as deleting a Tumblr post. The only difference (and privacy issue) is that reblogs stay even when the original is gone, which isn't the case when you block access to a journal entry.

(Anonymous) 2015-01-13 04:08 am (UTC)(link)I know of cases where people would go back and retroactively lock their episode reactions/reviews because they'd unexpectedly had an influx of new followers and didn't want to deal with people arguing with them about their feelings about the show in question.
