But not the fact that these dogs can talk and dance?

The movie takes place in a mainly realistic setting other than the inclusion of talking, dancing dogs (and the supernatural elements, which are religion-derived anyway), so the pink, purple, green, and blue dogs stand out.

Except the part where the dogs can also run heavy machinery and build their own disco. And candycanes are apparently the stand in for cocaine, and there's a 50 foot long alligator... yeah it's got no other big breaks from reality.
