That said, the text and outline are too thin for it to actually be readable against a dark background. Ah, well. Full marks for trying at least.

The secret is transparent, and thus unreadable since the outlines aren't solid enough to properly outline the text.

On the other hand, unlike a lot of people who do transparent secrets, they made the effort of outlining the text, even if it's not strong enough that it worked.

A lot of it is "human analogue" or what's called "sticky", though. Basically robot penis.

Then there's those who use electromagnetic fields or spark play and other methods that doesn't translate directly into the way us squishies have sex.

I don't know what category OP is in, but would wager it's the latter.

OP didn't say, though. They just said "Transformers? Seriously?". And from what I've seen of TF fandom, porn is rampant. Sticky is particularly common but are people looked down on for doing plug-and-play, spark, etc.? Because it seemed to me that all that stuff was pretty universally known. Probably people got off on sticky more, but it doesn't mean the people who write sticky would look down on the people who write other stuff - I mean they're already writing about giant robots having sex...

For me, the hottest smut I ever read was smut in the Tron fandom - from what I've heard, it's a bit similar to the Transformers smut (as in "sticky" and not and it's the, uh, non-sticky smut that I liked best).

I had a preference for sticky when I was in the fandom.

That is what brought me back to being able to read het sex again, because I went off human slash. When I wandered off to other fandoms for random fic, I only read het stuff.

This I blame on sticky being analogous to hetro sex despite which pronouns the participants have, since a lot of the time Cybertronians are characterised as being robotic hermaphrodites.
