Amusingly I am watching this show On Demand as I type this and I am right there with you OP. All of the Stone/Cassandra shipping.

I'm watching them right now too!

I kind of love how it's Leverage 2.0 with a fantasy angle.

With a description like that, anon, I really hope you are willing to tell me more of what this show is about. Leverage was my guilty pleasure during a really bad year, and if there's a FANTASY Leverage...

*sits with expectant puppy eyes*

Late. Soooo late. But The Librarians is by Dean Devlin and John Rogers, who were two of the three masterminds behind Leverage. It's a follow up to a series of TV movies from the early 2000s (titled The Librarian, shockingly) that starred Noah Wyle and were kind of nerdy-Indiana Jones in tone. You don't really need to have seen them to understand though - the basic conceit is that there's a giant library in underground New York filled with all sorts of magical artifacts and it is the job of the Librarian to look after them.

The series introduces the Junior Librarians in a very Leverage-type way - you've got the thief, the mathematician, the (female) muscle and Christian Kane as the Oklahoma oil rigger who is also a secret art history genius. Think the magical artifacts of Warehouse 13, the case of the week mysteries of Supernatural, and the characters and tone of Leverage. It's FUN.

Oh man, then I might need to see this. It sounds like the geekiness I require, by a creative team I enjoyed! Is it on Netflix or something?
