One if the things about the movies is that the special effects were really underwhelming to me. I liked the house elves but the rest were either standard or silly. It might be that lord of the rings is a though act to follow but still.

Also the costume design. Why was everyone in a suit? It's just not very magical.

lmao the costume design was terrible. It made all the girls look like rich girls who knew how to coordinate magazine-worthy clothes every day.
