For some reason, I have this irrational thing about soccer moms. It's not that I hate them, I just... cannot with people whose kids are in 5,000 activities. When do their kids get to just play, or read a book?

Same. I do wonder what those kids are going to be like when they get older.

I imagine they'll find it very hard to relax or do nothing on the couch all day when they're sick.

AYRT - Yeah. I mean, maybe it works for some kids - some people were wired like that. But every other kid on the block? I feel like it started when I was in school, and I never got it then, let alone now.

What do you mean by "soccer moms" exactly? I've heard it used to refer to early-middle-aged women who have kids and perhaps dress or act in a certain stereotypical way.

But if you do mean women whose kids are in a bajillion activities...to me that depends on why.
