People whose icons are actors. I don't mind actors playing a fictional person, but it feels wrong to me for people who aren't the actor to use their image.

Whenever someone gets really offended at other people having a different opinion (and ESPECIALLY if they use ad hominem attacks) I think that they are probably extremely insecure in their own opinions and know, deep down, that the other person has a point. Otherwise, why get so upset about it?

(Just to be clear, though, I separate this kind of behavior from passionate debate or a back and forth exchange/conversation, which I don't have an issue with).

I judge those people and look down at them a bit, to be honest.

Not very nice, but I do it.

It's not so much a 'your fave is problematic' thing, more of a 'mY PRECIOUS BABU CAN DO NO WRONG, EVERYTHING IS A RESULT OF BULLYING/MISTREATMENT/THE HERO PICKING ON HIM!1'.

People who bring up awful things other people have said as though that proves a point. Oh, so and so random person on the internet said something racist. And….? People who read slash and nothing else. I'll assume you don't really care about the female characters despite protests otherwise.

People who don't want anything to do with stuff made before/after a specific point (usually whenever they were 10-15 years old) because "it's old so it sucks"/"it's new so it sucks."

People who only watch horror movies for the gore. (Had someone tell me Day of the Dead was the best of Romero's films. Why? Gore. Even though as a film it's weaker than any of the other Dead films.)

People who won't watch anything if it's black and white or foreign.

For some reason, I have this irrational thing about soccer moms. It's not that I hate them, I just... cannot with people whose kids are in 5,000 activities. When do their kids get to just play, or read a book?

I don't judge per se, but when people tell me "I totally read War and Peace at four years old" I do major side-eyeing. (Exaggeration, but still.)

I do have friends I know in person who read Jane Austen at eight or nine, and given how smart they are, I can buy it. But I wonder how many people either don't realize they never actually understood any of the material, or they're trying to boost their brainy cred.

However, I might just be resentful because I didn't start reading adult books until high school, even though I had a strong enough reading level that I could've. So some of it may b e me.

People who think it's "awful" not to care about female characters in a particular fandom. I mean, why the hell would I? So many female characters are just so poorly written and generic. Of course I don't care about them, I don't see anything interesting in them.

Instead, I just gender flip a male character that has an actual personality and compelling characterization and enjoy my fic. Problem solved.

I don't know if it's weird, but I judge people who say that horror/gore/violence (IRL and like pictures of maimed people and tragedy, etc) doesn't bother them. It's like "You know losing your humanity isn't something to brag about, right?"

I also judge people who eat certain foods cold. My boyfriend just ate a can of cold Spaghtetti-O's. I'm judging pretty hard right now.

people who drink diet soda. drink water if you wanna be healthy. drink a normal soda if you wanna drink a soda. don't half ass it.

(this excludes people who need to limit their sugar intake for medical reasons, though.)

People who say they are outraged by something but honestly just want to talk about it and stir up outrage to do so.

ur example is the comet scientist with the sexy lady shirt. That wasn't a controversy that was funny.

Roleplayers who faceclaim-- especially those who can draw well. I find it impossibly lame, and they inevitably choose some famous actor/model. Why would you want your character to look like someone else?
