I shouldn't have too much caffeine for medical reasons. I occasionally drink decaf, but only if I want to taste it. *shrug*

It doesn't actually bother me since I never developed a dependence on it (not even before I realized I had an irregular heartbeat, which is exacerbated when I have caffeine). If I had it probably would have been really hard to adjust to not drinking coffee all the time. XD

I got my dad's caffeine-related genes too. It makes my heart do funny things, same as his. (It also doesn't really affect my sleep/wakefulness state one way or another. not sure if that's also true for him)

In my case, we suspect that my dad has some form of ADHD, so the caffeine acts as a downer.

We're 99.9% sure that I don't have ADHD, though; we think I just got the caffeine/downer aspect. :I

No. No no. You don't want to see me on that much caffeine. I'd be running around whirring and talking like the squirrel from Hoodwinked. I had a gingerbread latte from Starbucks the other day and was wired for ages. XD
