Not so much a scene I was looking forward to or anything, but-- in the first film. The fact that Dumbledore does not explain to Harry why Snape was trying to save his life. I mean, we now know it was oodles more complicated than fulfilling some life debt, but if you hadn't read the books it would just seem like Snape was the misunderstood hero of the first film. And then Harry seems like a complete little bastard for coming into the second film with a hate boner for a guy who spent the entirety of his first year quietly protecting him from Quirrell. Harry walks into the Great Hall, and before Snape can so much as give him a dirty look, he's like 'Oooh, that fucker. God, I hate him.'

They ended up dropping most everything specific about that whole event in tPoA, but it still really bothers me that it's left as 'Snape protecting Harry out of the goodness of his heart' and the little ass never even says thank you. At least they left in the earwax line.
