They totally screwed (to the point I can't watch POA) the reunion of Sirius and Remus and the explanation of who they were to James so that them being part of the rest of the movies made no sense. They were nothing in the movies when that scene in the shack was a major development both for Harry's character and the overall plot.

I'm just trying to remember if in the books Remus and Sirius were as "teehee, let's kill Peter together!"as they were in the movie.

The whole thing, to me, was much more solemn, but they were doing it together. They roll up their sleeves, saying their goodbyes to him, until Harry stops them and says he reckons his dad wouldn't want them to become murderers for his sake.

This so much. The Shrieking Shack scene is so great in the book and the movie really didn't do it justice. Of course, I think the PoA movie was a terrible adaptation in general since apparently backstory isn't important enough to include.

I also have issues with Dumbledore's death in that they made Harry trust Snape when one constant about Harry is that he never trusts Snape. I don't know why they decided not to keep him (Harry) frozen underneath the Invisibility Cloak.

PoA is my favorite book and my least favorite movie.

Same. PoA is actually one of my favourite books period, not just my fav of the HP series.

The movie is objectively a better film than the first two but it's definitely the worst adaptation of the series.

PoA was my favorite before HBP, so I love the book a lot but I do like the movie, or rather I love parts of it. The scene on the bridge with Remus and Harry is beautiful on every conceivable level, for example. Also my problems with that movie are the same that I have with all the movies, so it doesn't stand out as bad for me, so I can like what I like about it.
