I like AJ, but I get where you're coming from. At the same time, how much input do the wrestlers have regarding their gimmicks? (A genuine question because I really have no idea. I hear things, but I don't know how true they are).

Idk how people can claim that she's the only one with potential, though...? Nikki has improved so much. I definitely think Naomi and Alicia Fox have talent, too. Also, there's Paige (my new love tbh). And I'm not sure what's going on with Nattie right now, but I've enjoyed seeing her in the ring [again] as well.

If there are arguments that AJ is the "only one with potential," I feel as though people should be asking themselves why. Maybe it's because the women barely get a 30-second match and have the least built-up storylines... if I sound bitter it's probably because I am, lol.

I think they come up with their own gimmicks, mostly.

I think they can pitch ideas, and nay and yay gimmicks thrown at them from the writers, but it's not like they have all the power. The talent has got screwed over by turning the ideas/story lines/gimmicks down, being insistent on how their character and gimmicks can be, and refusing to do what the writers want. But really it honestly all depends on how much favor you've got in the back office.

I just watched a couple of recent matches on Youtube and I'll say this much, I don't think AJ Lee performs any better than the rest. All the Divas seem capable of way more than they're expected to display these days.

Also I have never wanted to trip somebody more than when AJ comes skipping down to the ring like she's 5 years old. Jesus.

S!B if you watch the Divas for anything other than eyecandy, thinking anyone but AJ has potential automatically invalidates your opinion amongst all the dudebro smarks.

I wish I could convince my female friends to try watching a match or two.

I know it's the WWE, and maybe asking too much, but why especially with the women do they always copy past wrestlers? At least with guys there a mixture, but with the women they seem to straight up carbon copy the past divas.

AJ seems like a Lita lite version, well from what little I've seen of her.
