I never really cared for Q, though his character definitely changes during the Voyager run. I dislike the way he plays with the Enterprise in his original stories, and I thought the view into the Q during Voyager was rather dismal and sad.

BUT, I did grow to like him a little more as I grew up and could view him as a "fun" antagonist and separate myself from how he was upsetting/infuriating the crew I liked. I still wouldn't say he's a favorite and I'd never seek out his episodes but I don't mind him as much any more. That also might be because of how he developed during Voyager.
