Except that Fenris doesn't become a Chantry brother or anything of the sort. If anything he questions himself and whether the Maker exists. He doesn't claim to believe or disbelieve by the end. If you're questioning your belief in an all mighty diety, you may pray on the off chance that it helps you/comforts you in some way.

There's nothing wrong with that, especially with a fictional character. Especially one that's had such a crappy life as Fenris. He's so damn angry that he may be trying to find peace internally. He may have been trying to give belief in the Maker a shot to help him with that.

So yeah, I think you're being irrational. But thanks for finding such a nice background pic to use. Never have seen that one.

MTE. I never felt that Fenris was dedicated to the Chantry, just that he left himself open to the idea. Maybe he decided it wasn't for him, but either way I doubt his experiences with religion changed him THAT much.

Maybe I'm not the person to ask though, because I love Leliana and obviously the Chantry is a huge part of her life. I don't agree with everything the Chantry does or believes in (like a lot of real life religions), but that doesn't change my feelings regarding the characters who believe in it.

DA

Lol that reminds me of how in Origin, I hardened Leliana so she wouldn't be quite as obsessed with religion. But by DA2 that effect seems lost, let alone DA3.
