Re: Non-entertainment fandoms

Yeah, but I don't really follow it the way I would a political issue. It's more for entertainment than because it's something important to me. It's another place's very local problem that isn't important on a large scale, and it doesn't affect me at all.

I don't have any strong opinions on which side is right and which side is wrong. I don't even mean "I just can't decide," I don't even care.

I just watch them for the amusement of seeing people who I can sometimes recognize (but don't personally know) fighting their miniature war against an attractive but foreign backdrop, and to laugh at the often-funny vitriol they spew at each other on Facebook, and sometimes in person, as you can see on their YouTube videos.
