Genealogy. It actually even has its share of wank.

I love it, except it's hard to make friends through it, because a, people live far away (it's still online, after all), and b, I'm one of five people under forty who bothers most of the time...

My aunt's really big on that. She was going around and scraping the mold off of tombstones so she could read them properly. In one little Italian village where hardly anyone moved in or out, she could trace our ancestry back to the 14th century.

AYRT - It's mostly within the groups, but for instance, someone once accidentally implied they were looking for a person who was still alive, which was against the rules, and another member yelled at them even after they tried explaining - albeit poorly and defensively. The whole thing was so overblown on both their parts.
