It's like -- Sharon would have grown up hearing stories about Steve from Peggy!

And what's worse is Peggy is STILL ALIVE. Can you imagine Steve going to visit her while he's dating/getting with Sharon? It's so fucked up. Even if Peggy dies, I mean, it would still feel wrong to me as though now that Peggy's gone, Sharon's "on the market."

I just can't help but to find it incredible WEIRD. Like how can ANYONE ever want to date a guy that their freaking aunt was completely in love with?

I find Howard/Steve and Tony/Steve worse because of Howard and Tony's relationship.

"Yeah, so I totally had sex with the father who you hate for neglecting you and obsessing over finding my frozen, dead body."

YES. And I LOVE it. Precisely because it doesn't even try to touch Steve/Tony with a ten foot pole. Instead, it articulates how damn weird it would be for Steve to be Tony's step parent (especially since Steve is about 15 years younger than Tony himself).

Tony's reaction to the news was also spot on and hilarious:

"You had sex with my dad?"

Despite the seriousness of the situation I lol'd for days.

I have read like 2 fics where Steve trolls Tony about sleeping with Howard (pretty sure they were not Tony/Steve). Those are pretty funny.

I can only ship onesided Howard>Steve
