I LOVE Steve/Sam with all my heart (and look at art/read fic prolifically) but the a few of the shippers really are awful and ruin the actual "fandom" aspect.

Like when people say it's racism that it isn't more popular. I can't help but think it's such bullshit because Bucky/Steve wasn't at all popular after the first Captain American movie and they had a very similar relationship to what Steve and Sam have now. So I hardly think it's fair to attribute the "lack" of fic to racism.

As for Bucky, the only ship I can have him in without Steve also included is Bucky/Natasha.
