Is this series worth a look? TV Tropes hasn't really sold me on it.

If you don't mind fanservice, I would say maybe.

It has some very good characters, the story is fun, but towards the end it jumped the shark (IMO) and the ending wasn't that good (unsurprisingly, since Oh Great is bad a writing endings IMO)

Text: Not that he was unpopular back when Air Gear was a thing, but god I would have loved to have him in a current series, with his crossdressing, debatable sexuality, abusive childhood, and all that. Tumblr would have been all over him.
