Tangentially related but...your secret is one of the few secrets that I actually understand the reason behind it being kept secret. It's really funny to me, because a lot of Korrasami shippers (who, let's face it, were rocking a crack ship for two seasons) are suddenly disciples of the canon pairing. Season upon season of being smacked down by canon shippers, and now they're doing the same thing to other pairings. HEAVEN FORBID you want to read fic of a non-canon pairing instead.

Also, yeah, most of the Korrasami fic is bad, but I haven't found good fic in that fandom period. Good on you if you found a pairing that does it for you.

+1 about Korrasami and a lot of the shippers. You can't really critique the ship, can't even have much discussion except about fluff. Tis boring.

As for Legend of Korra, oddly I've found that the best fic the fandom had to offer (which is still not as much as I'd expected) seemed to flourish was mostly after Book 1.
