Yeah, there's a person in my fandom's kink meme that just suddenly showed up telling everyone that they need to evaluate why they're making prompts about certain characters being rapists and what that says about them. And, also, that dub-con or non-con or dark!character isn't sufficient -- it's clearly rape and it has to be called what it is.

To top it off, when people tell her she's kink-shaming, she's going off about how certain things you can't hide behind "kink-shaming" and it needs to be said. FYI: all the prompts are appropriately warned for and no one's said anything about being triggered.

The KM is fairly slow so the Mod's not always there. I can't wait for her to delete this shit though.

That sounds exactly like an individual we had in our kink meme a little while back. Might even be the same person. We told them to stop kink-shaming (on a kink meme!) and start a discussion in a more appropriate place, froze their threads. They disappeared sharpish, within a day or two. Luckily our KM is well moderated and someone's always there within a few hours.

Multiple mods is the way to go. You can't expect one person to always be there. I think all our mods are in different time zones which is really useful.

These misguided moral crusaders are just bizarre. Their opinions seem terribly fixed and repetitive, like they've been drilled into them. They're obviously not interested in proper discussion, just telling everyone else where they're going wrong. Why do they all come out with exactly the same kneejerk opinions? Is there a training camp somewhere for how to upset abuse survivors by telling them they're doing kink memes wrong?
