Boss is offering us 16 hours of overtime this weekend. Extra money is always nice but I am not living paycheck to paycheck (I work on a tight budget). But I feel guilty about not going in to get extra money (I plan on working 6 hours Saturday but not really keen on going in on Sunday).

You ever feel guilty about stupid stuff?

I feel guilty about not going out to party-equivalents the past few weeks, despite being in really bad shape and having periodic nausea and gnawing gut pain that just won't go away.

Part of me still feels like I'm just making excuses not to make friends.

I feel guilty about not overextending myself to help somebody else. I know I made the right decision for my own mental health, but it's hard not to hate myself for not putting everyone else before myself.

I feel guilty about not making plans to get together with my friends. Granted, nothing would happen if I didn't make the overture first, but for some reason I feel like I should try harder to keep in touch.

When it comes to work? All the fucking time. Setup is easy and simple, but time consuming and tiring. And no one helps me. So I started a silent protest by going home after the last bit of flight freight and rollover is taken care of. No setup.

But I miss my extra money from it...

I feel guilty for not working extra/coming in extra/staying late when we're short. Even if I legitimately can't--I'm on modified duties thanks to my fibro, and literally cannot work more than five days in a row because it's too hard on my body.

I also feel guilty when I say no to switching a shift with someone if I don't have what I feel is a 'good enough' reason for saying no. Like, not wanting to, or having yoga that day or something never feels like a reason to not change shifts, and I don't want to pull out the, "Well you guys never seem to be available to switch with me when I need to..." card because I don't want to feel petty. :/

I feel guilty that I had to stay out of work for two days because I had bronchitis and an ear infection. But I felt really bad health-wise, so I know it was for the best.
