Yeaaaaa, that's what I love most. I've read a couple (like seriously, a handful) and that's it. It's disappointing.

Loki fucking with Thor's head is my favorite thing, and the more twisted the better. It probably says something about me that my favorites are the ones where Loki convinces Thor to have sex with him or schemes his way into Thor's (often initially unhappy) pants.

I guess to some extent it might be tricky to write without making Thor come off like the biggest dunce in the world, which a lot of MCU fanfic has a problem with anyway, but man it is such a fun dynamic to go for and I really like all the ones I have read that do that.

They're just, as you said, not all that common.

Ah, I can see where the dunce angle might be easy to fall into for some, but I don't see their dynamic that way. (Not that I don't believe some would write it that way, but Thor IS pretty trusting and forgiving so I think that could be played up more than 'helplessly dumb'. It just doesn't happen often.)

Ha, yeah for me it's that I don't necessarily trust a majority of the fandom to not write it in a completely demeaning way to Thor. I certainly know I've read a couple where Loki tricks Thor into bed and Thor is annoyed about it(mostly because Loki's 'won':P). Yeah Thor's got a bit of a blind spot for Loki but it doesn't mean he's stupid, it's based on presumably centuries of companionship(not that his trusting nature is dumb either, he just hopes for the best in people), we simply happen to see it as it all falls apart.

That's true. I think it could probably be pulled off realistically if, say, Loki took Jane's form and masqueraded as her or something similar though.
