But – the final book was such a mess. So many plotoholes, lose ends, etc. that at the end it felt more like the notes for the finale than the actual thing. There was still a lot to like about it, but still…
Examples: What happened to Cormel? Did Belle ever get her wings back? If Ivy’s got Nina’s soul, what happens to both of them when Ivy dies?
S!B the fandom is mostly shipping and squee.
B!S: I wish someone had told the author that “Beat off” has connotation besides “best I combat.”
