People don't ship it like this? I can't see Kaiba as initiating at all.

From what I remember of my time in YGO fandom in the 2000s, people usually shipped it as Kaiba being super confident and aggressive and pursuing an overly emotionally vulnerable Jounouchi. In other words, they basically semefied Kaiba and ukefied Jounouchi, and even when the fics were mostly in character, Kaiba was almost always the initiating party. It was baffling, to say the least.
