(Anonymous) 2015-01-19 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)Also, stars makes me think Goodreads, and lol at authors who think Goodreads, or any kind of other amateur book-blogging site, can meaningfully be called "unprofessional."
If people can tell you're killing off a particular reviewer, you'll probably get a ton of labels/shelves/notes as an author people hate for being an asshole to reviewers, jsyk. Readers and book-bloggers don't generally see it as edgy and heroic. There's a reason they call publicly responding to reviews the author's big mistake.
