Maybe because you find lots of the mainstream female characters to be poorly done or hard to connect to?

So instead you just ship the guys and fill the void of female characters/relationships that popular fiction leaves by creating your own?

Yep, that's basically what I do!

There are so few f/f ships with engaging, well-written characters that I look to m/m ships for the character dynamics I like.

And then I write original fiction with all the f/f characters I would love to read about.
