It's a pretty low-effort, generic way to get a pairing into bed without much buildup. I really prefer them to get there without that kind of artificial push. I do love characters from no-direct-communication-allowed kinds of canons getting drunk and having really honest conversations, though, so I've written that. Followed by some drunken dream-induced cuddling, lol. :3
