No one was sent to camps, but people were…well…really shitty to anyone who was Muslim or Arab. Or looked Muslim or Arab. Or who they thought was Muslim or Arab.

The government itself, though, didn't really do much.

There were some things -- like being targeted by TSA! Yippee! But nothing on the scale that's being discussed here.

Also bear in mind that Le Front National is a Nazi group, with the swastikas filed off. So, yeah, it's disturbing on more levels than just the "If yer aginst us, ya support TEH TURRISTS!" drum-banging from Western countries.
