...duh? If the actions of a small group of terrorists are blamed on all Muslims, this could mean more wars, which would lead not only to countless civilian deaths, but also to more extremist islamic groups emerging in response to the violence against innocent people.

I'm hardly advocating full-scale war, just holding Muslims up to the same standards as other religious groups.

Okay then. The KKK is a Christian terrorist group, yet we don't make all Christians accountable for that crimes. So surely you must be advocating for NOT making random people unattached to extremist groups accountable for the crimes of others, right?

The difference is no one denies that the KKK is a Christian group.

Whereas even suggesting that these terrorists are Muslims is offensive because they're not *true* muslims.

DA, but no, not exactly. I completely acknowledge that they're Muslims. However, not all Muslims are them.
