btw, I feel that most fandoms'd benefit from having more genfic. I'm trying to think of any fandoms predominated by porn... ST TNG, Professionals (it's a UK version of Starsky and Hutch, so I guess S&H is the same), SPN, Sherlock, Master and Commander...

I love AO3 statistics. I've seen a tumblr with AO3 stats, they had pretty graphs and all.

Upd. Ratings're all over the place too.
I thought the Avengers had less gen, tbh. It's all shippy on AO3 everytime I look. I'll have to take a look upthread, see if there's any more stats.)

Because according to those stats, Gen is still the second biggest category after slash. So that's a pretty big chunk of those Gen-rated fics.
