For most people, I think it's only a big deal until you have it. I stressed over mine for a while even though I didn't have big romantic expectations. Eventually, I asked my best friend to kiss me just so I could get it over with. Then it wasn't a big deal and kisses just happened. So don't worry about it.

Yeah, that was kind of was a meant. Like I wish there wasn't a huge media focus and I guess transferred-to-people focus about the importance of a first kiss? So I made it a big deal and soon as I had my first it wasn't a big deal.

It just surprises me a little bit over how much of a NOT BIG deal it is now, compared to how it'd been before.

Overall I don't have regrets over the people I didn't kiss though. I didn't kiss them because I didn't want to kiss them. If I had, it probably would've made their nights a little happier, but it probably wouldn't have phased mine. Sometimes I wonder if it would've have made me more confident about certain things back then, but then I remind myself that I'm more confident now because of the sum total of my experiences, not just the simple fact of whether I'd kissed someone before or not.

Yeah, that's my experience as well, both with first kiss and first time. Looking back now, I can't believe I ever stressed about it so much and made such a big deal. Ever since, it's just been a great part of life that happens.

But that does sound like a good attitude. Sure, we could have made it not a big deal earlier, but we have no way of knowing if that would have been any better. I'm quite happy with how things turned out, even if it was a bit late. Good luck with your next firsts :)
