I wouldn't go so far as to call it a kink (I don't think? like crying doesn't specifically turn me on) but I kinda feel you on this. I like it when men aren't afraid to be vulnerable. It makes a person more sexy in general to me.

+1. (Though some people can cry pretty, and I won't lie and say I don't find it pleasing to watch, but the crying itself doesn't turn me on.)

I'm always torn between the aesthetics of something like Dean's single perfect tear, and admiration for actors who are willing to go full-on 'ugly' crying face.

I get that. Pretty crying is nice to watch, but ugly crying hits harder and feels more genuine in most cases.
