I find omegaverse overwhelmingly squicky, often, but rock on with your bad self, anon. Enjoy what you enjoy. Fear not, you WILL find a reader. There is ALWAYS a reader, they just might be a lurker.

do we need a lurker reader?

I dunno, I've always liked my lurkers when they occasionally pop out of the woodwork. (Especially since they're usually drive-by buyers who hurl money at my head and then disappear into the sunset, never to comment or appear again.) I have enough of them that even if I can't see them, I'm glad they're there.

Omegaverse always has readers. If it's exceptionally well written, I'll even read it myself, even though like you the overall concept is not for me.

Omegaverse is one of the few tropes where I genuinely do skip the sex scenes, and I never do that usually.

There are some surprisingly well-plotted omegafics with great world building.

Yeah, I'm sure there are great fics, but it squicks me too bad. Can't do it.

But then, I generally don't read fanfic for the plot OR the world building. I am all that is wrong in fanfic readers. *snrk*
