This might or might not be of any help, anon, depending on where your eczema is located, and you may have already tried them.

But I get it on my hands and occasionally elsewhere, and I've found one thing that works for me is covering the rash with a self-adhesive hydrocolloidal bandage (the brand I currently use is Band-Aids Tough Pads, which around here I can only find at Wal-Mart, but there are others if you search online.) They help with both pain and itching, and encourage the stuff to heal quicker.
