Ugh, same situation when I was a kid, except I *did* have the tubes forced down my throat and crap pumped into them until I was sick. And then they said I was doing it on purpose and called me bulemic.

I also have issues with doctors now, unsurprisingly. And still nightmares. Twenty years later, I'm still having nightmares.

And yes, the whole thing where food sounds SO GOOD and then you can't have more than like a bite? So, so frustrating. I have wound up crying at commercials for pizza and donuts and pancakes because they look/sound so amazingly delicious but I know it would be pointless and a waste of money to go out and get some, but I'm just so tired of living off spoonfuls of peanut butter and Nutella because I don't have to even chew, I can just swallow quickly and get it over with. (Drinking water makes me nauseated, always has... I found out recently it dilutes stomach acid, so if you have low stomach acid as I almost certainly do, you should never drink with meals. I drink vinegar or lemon juice sometimes with meals, but that's about it.)
