That's part of my job, yes. I may seem totally humorless, but I'm so deadpan and straightforward that trolls can jump off me for off-the-wall humor. Your job is to use me for funnies while making me look like an idiot.

If you're serious, then I'll be the same: I can't use "your posts suck." I suppose I could use "you shouldn't even try making jokes," but considering that almost everyone on FS makes jokes occasionally, it would be pretty weird to never try to make them. I could use "your posts suck because of X, Y, and Z, and you should A, B, and C instead," but just "your posts suck" is roughly equivalent to "your face is ugly."

It always amuses me when weak trolls or assholes get themselves in deep and then claim that they'll stop "to spare YOU embarrassment"

One of the many ways they try to convince you it is you who should be embarrassed when they make a fool of themselves.

In all honesty, I used to be incredibly vulnerable to that kind of stuff. I probably still am, it's just that I started to recognize how often I was taken advantage of by folks who made me think I was being stupid for arguing with them. (The turning point actually involved FS, though it's kind of a long story.)
