Good call. I hope you were upfront with the guy that if he trusts you to be an objective observer, he was way out of line and you are NOT going to be in his corner from now on.

I used the phrase "being honest here, but you were..." Then coached him on ways to apologise (warnings require a written response). I think he has some serious anger management and taking responsibility issues. Also takes everything as a personal attack so man.

Idk. Mostly I just feel embarrassed that I came along as a supportive buddy (for a gr consult he asked for) then witnessed him go from 1 to 100 on the rage scale.

Just. Dude. You're over reacting and making everything worse for yourself and omfgno I'm so shamed to be here.

I go on leave next week so I won't see him for a month. Hopefully it will be resolved when I get back.
